Adventures of a Family of Three: Exploring the World with Our Little One
This place really brings you back to nature. I mean be prepared for spiders its that close to nature! We stayed here for the May Day Bank Holiday and it was just bliss. We arrived during showers so everything was very green and luscious and made for some great photos. If you are a photographer this is just the best!
You have the main thatched barn which includes a double bed, don't forget the little touches. You have blankets galore and hot water bottles to warm those chilly nights. In the main building you have a kitchen, and this is packed. They have thought about everything, books, games, and a full prepared kitchen with home baked bread and the BEST butter we have had. They even provided a breakfast hamper that was full to the brim with little goodies including marshmallows for roasting.
Honestly its the little touches that make this place just the best, I can go on and on about this place. The hosts themselves are two of the nicest people we have met through Airbnb, its worth seeing their 108 reviews which are 5* to see why!
You have a large camp fire with endless logs! We lit a fire for breakfast and dinner and let me tell you bread roasted on a fire tasted so good.
Don't forget to use those marshmallows included! On site they have a eco-toilet! Creating a sustainable camp.
Yes, there's even a bucket shower! nothing like being that close to nature.
