Adventures of a Family of Three: Exploring the World with Our Little One
Welcome to the Panorama Glass Lodge, Located in Southern Iceland this is one of the best, if not the best place to stay in Iceland. The glass cabins comes equipped with a plush double bed, fully equipped kitchen, waterfall shower and underfloor heating. (that is a bonus right?)
Each cabin is hidden away from the others so there's not a chance of seeing anyone else unless its the carpark so yes feel free to walk around naked if you wish .Now, we need to point out that you need to BOOK IN ADVANCE we secured our dates around a year ahead and it was so worth it.
We picked ODIN lodge purely based on the views of the river from the hot tub and the view of the mountains from the bed.
A night here is around £400.00 however there is a minimum spend of two nights unless you catch a last minute cancellation.
You have the best views from your bed due to being surrounded by glass. Don't fret about the summer nights there are pull up blinds to stop the light getting in.
The cabin itself comes with a kitchen, coffee machine, cooker and toaster. Just dont forget to do the shopping beforehand.
The newest addition to the glass cabins, the sauna! Two cabins shared one however there is a timetable whch gives everyone the equal opportunity to use it.
