COME STAY AT A EKOPOD
Eko-pod is based at the edge of Bodmin surrounding by acres of woodland. In a field hidden away with other pods and one safari tent lies Nessa our Ekopod for the weekend.
Dont be fooled you might be with other people but the pods are positioned in a way that you can't see anyone else. We came here in winter and couldn't ask for a more warming stay
Bodmin, Cornwall seems to have the most unique places to stay. The Ekopod pods are each nestled away from each other but comes equipped with everything you need. This really is quite the romantic stay at the owners even push their marketing towards couples staying. The Ekopod itself has a hammock, and extra bed and countless candles. Just very well thought out.
Now, if you require a microwave or fridge they actually have that on site. They have another building by the farm which acts as another kitchen and shower rooms. Not only that but it's full of board games books enough to keep you off grid.
The second night we stayed there was a storm, it was a little noisy but if you are like us there is nothing better than being inside in the cosy warmth when its raining outside. Budget wise I think it's really good, for 2 nights its around £210.00. Which is perfect for what you get.
The ekopod comes fully stacked with a log burner and endless wood.Inside the pod is a 4 poster bed with not one but 2 duvets.
The kitchen a-joined to the pod comes prepared with local goodies for breakfast as well as full cooking facilities. Not forgetting the cheese.
Now the bathroom is something else, it fully opens up so you can have a bath with quite a view.
